What's missing?

I am totally bummed out this week. We had a qualified family back out this week for reasons unknown. We were so close to getting somewhere that it was nearly impossible not to get my hopes up no matter how hard I tried. I feel as if I am grasping at straws most of the time these days. I am spreading the word all over the place and yet people just aren't responding. I am at a loss for what to do. How much longer can we go on like this? Needless to say, I am feeling like a complete failure.
